A new study suggests carbon dioxide in the atmosphere could be made into a new type of biofuel.
Description: A new fuel source could be a breath of recycled air for vehicles. Scientists believe they can take the CO2 already in the atmosphere and turn it into industrial products, potentially even biofuel. A study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences suggested scientists could engineer microorganisms to produce a variety of products "ranging from bulk chemicals and fuels to complex pharmaceutical molecules."
