Cohort Studies (and Skin Cancer) Never Come Alone
Description: A previous keratinocyte carcinoma is probably the strongest predictor of developing new keratinocyte carcinomas, which makes these patients an interesting population for prevention interventions. Investing in large cohort studies and consortia might increase the validity of observational findings and should stimulate scientists to investigate the underlying mechanisms in detail.
