Matthew Lin took first place in the chemistry division of the 2015 Southwest Energy Arkansas Science and Engineering Fair held recently at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. His project, which also took first place at regional science fairs at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and the University of Arkansas at Monticello, focused on the boiling point of water and if it evaporates before or after the boiling point.
