Comment on "Occurrence of faecal pellet-filled simple and composite burrows in cold seep carbonates: A glimpse of a complex benthic ecosystem" by A. Mazumdar, RK Joshi and M. Kocherla [Marine Geology 289 (2011) 117-121]
Description: In this journal paper pellet-filled burrows described by Mazumdar et al. (2011) were re-interpreted. These specimens were assigned as Phymatoderma cf. melvillensis. Pellets were actively stuffed within the burrows, not passively. [Source: Marine Geology]
