Melanoma Strikes Earlier If Indoor Tanning Begins in Teens: Study
Description: Using tanning beds at a young age significantly raises a woman's risk of developing melanoma before the age of 50, a new study finds. A study of adults ages 25 to 49 found the risk for the deadly skin cancer increased two to six times for women who tanned indoors, with the greatest odds seen for those who used tanning beds in their teens and 20s.
