Efforts by her poor family to seek medical intervention at Kenyatta National Hospital have so far hit a dead end, due to a lack of finances. Amid Wanja's continued suffering, the family is now frantically pleading with well wishers to intervene and help it raise the required money needed that will enable her to undergo specialized treatment in India.
