The Madden Julian Oscillation has been active so far this winter. Here is why it matters.
Description: The Madden-Julian Oscillation or "MJO" is a major fluctuation in tropical circulation and rainfall that moves eastward along the equator, and circles the entire globe in a span of 30-60 days on average. So, what does the MJO mean for the rest of February and into March?
