Optimal chimney height needs to provide best performance of the stove. This research aims to determine optimal chimney height for a double pot biomass stove. Experimental study was done by varying the heights of chimnies. A water boiling test was the standard method was to obtain stove performance data for each chimney height variation. The results showed that the optimally performing stove was the one with 1.65 cm chimney height, with a thermal efficiency at 37.66%. [Source: Makara Journal of Technology]
