Climate change and a poleward shift in the distribution of the Pacific white-sided dolphin in the northeastern Pacific
Description: In the last 3 decades there has been an observable decline in the presence of Pacific White-sided Dolphin in the southwest Gulf of California, which is considered the southern boundary of their distribution. The authors of this research article believe that this poleward shift in the usual geographic range of the Pacific White-sided Dolphin is due to long-term changes in the local climate.
