ROLE Models: Carolyn Jordan and Kate Leavitt

What is an aerosol, and what does it have to do with climate change? Dr. Carolyn Jordan (University of New Hampshire) will present a concept map all about aerosols - tiny particles in the atmosphere that influence weather and climate - and why they matter in our daily lives. Educator Kate Leavitt from the Seacoast Science Center (SSC) will also share how the SSC developed programs and activities to teach elementary age students about aerosols in innovative ways.
