Ocean Energy Webinar Series

The ocean is a vast and almost entirely un-tapped source of energy. Join a group of engineers and planning specialists to take a closer look at the oceans and how science and technology can be used to pursue more sustainable energy projects such as wind and tidal power.

January 24 - 7:00 pm ET

The World of Ocean Energy : An overview and introduction to ocean energy, and an overview of marine renewable energy sources. The Cape Cod Canal project will be featured.

January 31 - 7:00 pm ET

Impacts, Outputs and Lessons Learned : How to assess the perfect locations for renewable energy projects, and how those projects are tested and evaluated to maximize their benefit while minimizing environmental impact.

February 7 - 7:00 pm ET

Classroom Connections : Educators will lead a discussion of what teachers have done in the past to incorporate ocean energy and technology into their classrooms. An open discussion will be available for brainstorming implementation strategies.
