Lobster in the Gulf of Maine - From Hatch to Catch - 02.18.2011

In our first Spring 2011 ROLE Model webinar, Dr. Richard Wahle (UMaine) shared with a record-breaking number of online viewers why the Gulf of Maine is the ideal home for the American lobster. Since 1989, Dr. Wahle and his colleagues have been "vacuuming" the sea floor and counting juvenile lobsters in an effort to model - and predict - future harvests of Homarus americanus.
