Interaction with COSEE Network:

Served on Evaluators Working Group Committee and attended network meetings in 2008,2009, and 2010.


Background with Respect to Ocean Sciences Education:

Currently she is serving as an external evaluator for COSEE-Alaska and COSEE-OLC. Also as an external evaluator for the Seattle Aquarium's NOAA-funded Ocean Sciences project and the Port Townsend Marine Science Center, Orca Project.

In the past she has served as an external evaluator for Seattle Aquarium's Howard Hughes grant-funded Sound Science project. She also wrote and published marine education curricular materials under the series title ORCA- Ocean Related Curriculum Activities. Andrea also has conducted numerous teacher professional development workshops related to the ORCA materials.
