Interaction with COSEE Network:

Ms. Diederick has established a state-wide network of scientists and educators to support the development of quality educational products, promote the establishment of local educational outreach programs, and facilitate regional collaborations that enhance ocean science education and increase ocean literacy.

These collaborations are primarily in the form of lectures, interactive science cafes, educator workshops, and other community events that bring scientists, educators and the general public together- collectively known as "Water As Habitat" Community Events.

Ms. Diederick has a BS in Natural Resources Education and Communication and is a well-known marine educator and board member of the Florida Marine Science Educators Association (FMSEA).
