Interaction with COSEE Network:

I have been involved with COSEE from the beginning, developing initial COSEE workshops and serving as ex officio federal partner for COSEE meetings through 2005. I am now a contractor to one of COSEE-CT's collaborators on curriculum development projects.



Background with Respect to Ocean Sciences Education:

Coordinated Sea Grant's educational activities within NOAA and other Federal agencies and organizations and provided leadership for the Dean John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship Program. Served as Assistant Program Director for Ocean Sciences Education at NSF.  Earned an M.S. degere from SUNY-Stony Brook and a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. Currently self employed conducting assessment and evaluation services, Teacher PD, curriculum development, and grant writing through BridgeWater Education Consulting, LLC.
