Zoom: Use the vertical scroll bar on the left side of the map to zoom in and out.

Pan: To move about the map, click anywhere on the map background (ie, not on a concept, line, or text) and drag the map to the desired location.

 
Click on the color boxes to turn concepts on and off (try it in the embedded map at right).

 
Click on the wrench icon in the upper left corner of the map for a list of options (try these out on the embedded map to the right):

 


Toggle Color Blocks: Use this tool to turn the color block key on and off.

Toggle Scale Bar: Use this tool to turn the scale bar on and off.

Center Map to Window: Use this tool to center the map in the window (a very handy tool if you've been panning around).

Fit Map to Window: Use this tool to return the map to its original size.

Open Map in Viewer: Use this tool to open the map in the Concept Map Viewer.

Copy Map to 'My Maps': Use this tool to save a copy of the map to your own profile. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to log in. If you haven't registered with COSEE-OS, you will be prompted to create a profile.

View Map Content: This tool will open a new window or pop up containing a list of map contents. To close this window, click on the blue X located in the upper right corner of the pop up.
