Graduate students instruct high school students on concept mapping at BHS
Graduate students are working with teachers, in their classrooms or in the field, to teach COSEE-OS online tools to students and help teachers get students thinking about ocean sciences. In the process, our graduate students gain valuable teaching experience while serving as contemporaory role models for the next generation of young scientists.

COSEE-OS links graduate students with area educators and provides equipment for inquiry-based lessons. Online tools are free to use and include the Ocean Climate Interactive, Concept Map Builder, and Oceans in the News, a compilation of current news materials relevant to oceans and climate.
