Graduate students rework a complex map on marine food webs with BLOS scientist David Fields

Collaborative workshops bring graduate students and research scientists together to help both groups hone their skills at communicating complex scientific topics to non-scientists (e.g., high school students). Educators and high school students critique workshop presentations, providing valuable feedback to presenters on improving delivery and catering content to specific audiences.

To date, COSEE-OS has held five of these workshops; three with other COSEE Centers (California, Networked Ocean World, and West):
