Scientist-Educator Partnership Program
Dr. Michael Kemp has spent his career looking at the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem, focusing on the processes causing dead zones and damage to submerged aquatic vegetation. In the course of his work he has collaborated extensively with many individuals and within several sectors – with fellow scientists and grad students, coastal managers and teachers. Not surprisingly, many of them have something to say about the experience – working alongside Michael at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, working with him to affect regulatory change, having him as an advisor and a team member.
