Snapping Objects

In some instances you may want to connect ("snap") objects together in building your concept map. For example, phrases can be snapped to lines and lines and forks can be snapped to concepts.

To snap a phrase to a line, drag the phrase over the circular handle at the center of a line (or the square handle at the center of a fork). When snapped, the phrase should stay with the line or fork when dragged.

To snap a handle to a concept, drag the handle to a concept and drop it on that concept to indicate the snap was successful. When properly snapped, a light blue outline will flash over the concept. You can then adjust the position of the handle around the concept.

To unsnap an object, hold down the shift key, left click on the desired object, then select UNSNAP from the menu that pops up.
