Tracy Vassiliev is a Middle School Science Teacher at James F. Doughty Middle School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from
the University of Maine (UMaine) and continued on with the University to obtain her Master's Degree in Marine Bioresources. She also completed her MEd for
Middle School Science and Gifted/Talented Education, both at the University of Maine. Currently, Tracy teaches two sections of accelerated Grade 8 Physical Science, one
class of Grade 7 life sciences and two sections of Grade 8 Applied Science (12 week STEM course). Her graduate students were:

- Noah Oppenheim, dual M.S. degree candidate in Marine Biology and Fisheries Policy
Jesse DePue is a Grade 8 Science Teacher at James F. Doughty Middle School, a position she has held for the past four years. She obtained her Bachelor
of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Michigan Technological University and went on to complete a Masters of Science in Natural Science and
Environment and Natural Resources from the University of Wyoming. She is currently halfway through a second Master's program in School Counseling
at Husson University. She has a teaching certification in Secondary Biology. Her graduate students were:
Patricia (Tricia) Bernhardt is the Department Head and a Life Sciences Teacher at James F. Doughty Middle School. She currently teaches Grade 7
Life Sciences. She has a background in Biology (Bachelor of Science from UMaine) as well as Curriculum and Instruction (MS from California
State University, Sacramento). Her graduate students included:
- Jeff Vieser, dual M.S. degree candidate in Marine Biology and Policy
- Mike Kersula, dual M.S. degree candidate in Marine Biology and Policy
