The Institute for Broadening Participation and COSEE-OS team up to give you a useful webinar focused on making the transition from a community college to a 4-year university, with a special emphasis on ocean science careers. During this engaging presentation, IBP lays out a multitude of resources for those considering a career in ocean sciences and we learn how varied and interdisciplinary these careers can be. Our guest speaker, Dr. William Ellis uses his extensive experience as Undergraduate Coordinator at The University of Maine to offer up some great tricks and tips for both discovering relevant internship opportunities and for setting yourself up for success upon entering a 4-year institution.
