Scientist-Educator Collaborative Workshop Workshop Evaluation: Educator Backgrounds

Held at the University of Connecticut Avery Point Campus, Groton, CT Thursday, October 8, 2009 through Saturday, October 10, 2009

This workshop marked the first time that both formal and informal educators came together to work with scientists at a COSEE-OS workshop. Attending were 10 formal and 5 informal educators from Connecticut, New York, New Hampshire, Illinois, and Texas. The majority of educators had over ten years experience, and, as a group, they reach a wide range of audiences from elementary school to college level students, from families to town administrators.
